Day training and habilitation (DT&H) services provide training and care to people with developmental disabilities, and/or other related conditions. DT&H services discover and are provided taking into consideration each person’s natural abilities and their personal likes and dislikes. DT&H services strive to improve a person’s sense of well-being and develop and maintain life skills which support their ability to more fully participate in the community. DT&H services are provided under BI, CAC, CADI or DD waiver services.
DT&H services provide training and care in the areas of:

- Independent living
- Money management
- Pedestrian/street safety
- Positive behavior support
- Public transportation
- Recreation & leisure
- Self-care
- Self-preservation
- Social skills
- Use of community resources, access & inclusion
- Work-related skills training
